Hi, I’m Jo.
Fifteen years ago, I walked into my first yoga class simply looking to care for my health. I had no idea it would change the course of my life! Yoga quickly became so much more than movement for me; it opened up a world of mental clarity, inner calm, and physical vitality.
Over the years, my movement practice has naturally shifted. While dynamic Vinyasa flow kept me energised for years, I’ve fallen in love with the gentle, meditative nature of Yin yoga, finding its deep stretches and stillness incredibly restorative for both body and mind.
Leaving Manchester for rural North Wales in 2017 was another turning point. The quiet beauty of the countryside refreshed my perspective and reinforced my belief in holistic living. In 2018, I received my first Reiki attunements to support my family’s health, a path that ultimately led to becoming a Reiki Master Teacher. Sharing this powerful energy through treatments and training is a true joy.
My curiosity about the mind-body connection also led me back to academia, completing an MSc in Psychology with a research focus on children’s well-being and yoga. It was during this time that I discovered the therapeutic power of sound vibrations, which inspired me to gain my Diploma in Sound Therapy.
At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to creating a gentle, welcoming sanctuary. Healing and rest can only happen when you feel totally comfortable. My space is built on unconditional warmth and acceptance—no judgment, no expectations. Whether you are brand new to sound and energy work or a regular attendee, you are invited to come exactly as you are.
I am fully insured through Balens Insurance.
My Qualifications: Diploma in Sound Healing and Therapy, Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Crystal Reiki Practitioner, 200HR Yoga Teacher, 60HR Yin Yoga Teacher, B.Ed. (Hons) Primary Education, MSc Psychology (Distinction)
